CMC Critical Minerals Corporation S.A.C. una empresa dedicada a la explotación y tratamiento de minerales, considera que el valor más importante son nuestros trabajadores, la Alta gerencia se compromete acuidar este valor a través de nuestro Sistema de gestión de seguridad. Por tanto, somos exigentes al cumplimiento nuestros compromisos establecidos en:
- Identificar nuestros peligros evaluar nuestros riesgos aplicando medidas de control asegurando un entorno de trabajo seguro y saludable, teniendo como base la prevención de lesiones, enfermedades y mejora continua de nuestro sistema de gestión.
- Proveer recursos necesarios para el logro nuestros objetivos y metas de seguridad y salud ocupacional, así como reconocimiento y motivación oportuna.
- Asegurar que nuestros colaboradores estén capacitados, motivados, sensibilizados a través de un programa de formación y capacitación adecuado.
- Buscar la mejora continua de nuestros procesos productivos,liderazgo, responsabilidad, salud ocupacional y el desempeño en seguridad alineado a nuestros Sistema de Gestión de Seguridad.
- Cumplir con todas las leyes, normativas, requisitos legales aplicables y acuerdos voluntarios relacionados con nuestra actividad productiva.
- Propiciar la consulta y participación de los trabajadores y sus representantes en las actividades relacionadas con el sistema de Gestión de Seguridad y Salud Ocupacional.
CMC - Human Rights Policy
1. Introduction
CMC Critical Minerals Corporation S.A.C. recognizes and respects the inherent dignity and rights of all individuals. We are committed to upholding and promoting human rights in all aspects of our operations and business activities. This Human Rights Policy outlines our commitment to respecting fundamental human rights, treating all individuals with fairness and equality, and preventing any form of discrimination, harassment, or exploitation.
2. Policy Statement
2.1. Respect for Human Rights: We are dedicated to respecting the human rights of all individuals, regardless of their race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, or other protected characteristics.
2.2. International Standards: We adhere to internationally recognized human rights standards, including the principles of the UN Global Compact and the Standards of the International Labor Organization (ILO), in particular the “Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work “.
3. Respect for human rights and fair working conditions
A company’s social responsibility towards its own employees is of central importance to us. We do not to commit or participate in human rights violations and ensure that working conditions are fair and appropriate in compliance with legal requirements.
3.1 Prohibition of child labor
CMC strictly rejects any form of child labor. We are committed to zero tolerance for child labor and must comply with the following requirements:
· The ILO defines the “worst forms of child labor” as prohibited by:
o all forms of slavery or any slavery-like practices, such as the sale and trafficking of children, debt bondage and servitude, and forced or compulsory labor, including the forced or compulsory recruitment of children for use in armed conflict;
o Work which, by its nature or by reason of the circumstances in which it is performed, is likely to be harmful to the health, safety or morals of children.
· The minimum age for taking up employment corresponds to the age at which compulsory education ends under the applicable national law, while respecting the special protection conditions for children (up to 18 years of age): they may not carry out work which, by reason of their nature or circumstances, is subject to which it is performed, may endanger their health, safety or morals, e.g. overtime or night shifts.
3.2 Prohibition of forced labor
CMC strictly rejects any form of forced labor. We do not tolerate forced and compulsory labor as well as any form of modern slavery, serfdom, human trafficking, domination or oppression in the vicinity of the workplace, for example through extreme economic exploitation:
· It includes any work or service required of a person under threat of punishment and for which he or she has not voluntarily made himself or herself available.
· When recruiting, hiring and employing employees, no violence, deception or intimidation is used, no excessive fees are charged and forced labor is not used as punishment, e.g. for representing or expressing political views.
· To this end, we pay particular attention to the following indicators of forced labor: non-payment of wages, restriction of employee freedom of movement, withholding of passports or other documents, intimidation of employees or persons close to them, unacceptable working and living conditions, and excessive overwork.
We provide adequate working conditions for employees, as described below:
· Wages are to be paid in a comprehensible manner, unjustified wage deductions and wage deductions as a disciplinary measure are prohibited. Remuneration for regular working hours and overtime must be in line with the national statutory minimum wage or industry minimum standards, whichever is greater. Employees must be provided with all the benefits required by law. It must be ensured that employees receive clear, detailed and regular written information on the composition of their remuneration.
· Working hours must comply with applicable laws or industry standards. Overtime is only permitted if it is performed on a voluntary basis and does not exceed 12 hours per week, while employees must be given at least one day off after six consecutive working days. The weekly working time may not exceed 48 hours on a regular basis.
3.4 Equality and prohibition of discrimination
We select employees based on their qualifications and skills and ensure equal opportunities in all aspects of the employment relationship. CMC complies with the following with regard to the recruitment and employment of employees:
· Any distinction, exclusion or preference based on ethnic or national origin, nationality, social origin, skin color, health condition, disability, sexual orientation, age, sex, political opinion, religion or belief or any other legally protected characteristic. Membership of a national minority, pregnancy, or veteran status is prohibited unless justified by the requirements of employment.
· This includes the principle of equal pay for work of equal value.
We respect the fundamental right of all employees to form organizations of their choice, to join such organizations and trade unions and to conduct collective bargaining. We shall not disregard the freedom of association.
3.6 Occupational health and safety
Occupational health and safety have the highest priority. CMC creates safe and hygienic working conditions that at least comply with the national laws and standards of the respective country. It ensures that appropriate measures are taken to protect workers and ensure safety at work. Employees are adequately trained and instructed.
CMC does not violate the legitimate rights of others to land, forests or waters that constitute the livelihood of people. We do not participate in unlawful appropriation, destruction and deforestation.

We provide channels for employees, contractors, and stakeholders to report any violations or concerns related to human rights.
